# Domains

> End-user guide for switching teams, adding domains, reviewing domain cards, and removing domains.

Open `/domains` to manage the websites connected to your Uppzy workspace.

## Team switching

If you belong to more than one team, use the team switcher in the top bar before changing domains.

Switching teams changes which domains, documents, analytics, and settings you are working with.

Recommendation:

* Confirm the selected team before adding, deleting, or configuring a domain.

## Domain list (`/domains`)

The Domains page shows a card for each connected domain.

Each card can show:

* Domain
* Connection signal state
* Last check timestamp
* **View Details** action
* **Delete** action

If there are no domains yet, Uppzy shows an empty state and asks you to add one.

## Add a domain

Click **Add New Domain** to open the Add Domain panel.

The panel asks for:

* Domain

You can enter a domain like:

* `example.com`

The form also accepts common website formats and cleans them into a domain format when possible.

To add a domain:

1. Click **Add New Domain**.
2. Enter the domain.
3. Click **Add Domain**.
4. Open **View Details** after the domain appears.
5. Continue to widget setup.

If the form shows a validation message:

* Remove spaces
* Check spelling
* Use a real domain, not a local address
* Try the plain domain format, such as `example.com`

## Domain status

The small status indicator helps you see whether the website is sending the expected signal.

Status examples:

* **Signal is being received**: the domain is connected.
* **No signal received**: the domain needs setup or review.

Use **View Details** to inspect connection details and move to setup.

## Domain deletion

Use **Delete** only when you no longer want to manage that domain in Uppzy.

Before deleting:

* Confirm you selected the correct team
* Confirm the domain is no longer needed
* Review whether the domain still has useful documents or analytics
* Check whether any connected channel depends on it

The delete action shows a confirmation dialog. Continue only if you are sure.

## Related screens

After adding a domain, you will usually continue to:

* Domain Information
* Widget Setup
* Reference Documents
* Analytics

## User checklist

* Confirm the correct team before making changes.
* Add one domain per website you want to manage.
* Open details after adding a domain.
* Complete widget setup before expecting chat activity.
* Delete domains only after checking dependencies.
