This page explains the main concepts you will see across the product.

Team workspace

Your team workspace is the shared place where billing, team members, limits, and product access are managed. If your organization works with multiple brands or websites, the same workspace can manage more than one domain.

Roles

Roles control what each team member can do.
  • Owner: full control over billing, team management, and product settings
  • Admin: manages most day-to-day settings and operations
  • Member: uses the product with more limited management access
Use roles carefully so only the right people can change billing, access, or key settings.

Domain

A domain is the website you connect to Uppzy. Each domain has its own:
  • Widget setup
  • Reference Documents
  • Statistics
  • Integrations
  • Conversation history
If you manage more than one website, treat each domain as a separate chatbot environment.

Widget

The widget is the chat experience visitors see on your website. Widget Setup controls:
  • What visitors see first
  • How the assistant behaves
  • How the widget looks
  • How it is installed on the website

Reference Documents

Reference Documents are the content sources the assistant can use when answering visitors. These include:
  • Files
  • Texts
  • Q&A
  • Website Crawl results
Keep this content accurate, current, and relevant to visitor questions.

Active and draft content

Reference content can be active or draft.
  • Active: can be used by the assistant after it is ready
  • Draft: saved in the product but not used for answers
Use draft status while reviewing new content.

Sessions

A session is one visitor conversation. Session data appears in:
  • Statistics and Quality
  • All Sessions
  • Chat History
  • Live Chat when used
Review sessions when you need to understand what visitors asked and how the assistant responded.

Usage and limits

Usage and limits help your team understand how much of the product capacity has been used. Depending on your plan, you may see:
  • Usage levels
  • Document limits
  • Plan-based feature availability
  • Billing and renewal information
