Before you connect
Before starting, confirm that:- You selected the correct domain in Uppzy.
- You have permission to install apps in the Slack workspace.
- You know which Slack workspace should be connected.
- Your Reference Documents and assistant setup are ready for team questions.
Connect Slack
- Open Integrations for the selected domain.
- Find the Slack card.
- Choose Connect Slack.
- Complete the Slack authorization flow.
- Return to Uppzy after authorization.
- Confirm that the Slack card now shows Integration Details.
- Turn the switch on when you are ready for the integration to be active.
Connected state
When Slack is connected, the card shows Integration Details. The details window can show:- Current workspace
- Workspace identifier
- A note that replies are triggered by mentions and answered in thread
Enable or disable Slack
Use the switch on the Slack card to control whether the integration is active.- On: the connected Slack integration can respond according to its configured behavior.
- Off: the connection remains saved, but the integration is inactive.
Delete the Slack connection
Use Delete from Integration Details when you want to disconnect Slack from the selected domain. Before deleting, confirm that:- You are on the correct domain.
- The workspace shown in Integration Details is the one you intend to disconnect.
- Your team is ready for Slack replies to stop using this connection.
Test checklist
After connecting Slack:- Confirm the card shows Integration Details.
- Confirm the workspace name is correct.
- Confirm the switch is on when you want the integration active.
- Mention the Slack app in an approved test channel.
- Confirm the answer appears in the expected thread.
- Review Chat History and Statistics after testing.
Troubleshooting
If Slack does not connect:- Confirm you selected the correct domain.
- Confirm you have permission to install the Slack app.
- Retry the Connect Slack flow.
- Refresh the Integrations page after returning to Uppzy.
